During the last weekend of the tour almost 1,000 people explored the two grand homes and enjoyed the impressive architecture, architectural details and the latest trends in construction and decorating. The weather couldn’t have been more cooperative.
The Roswell Woman’s Club thanks Thrive Homes and TL Concepts as well as the Manor Golf and Country Club for partnering with us in this charitable venture. We express our heartfelt thanks to all the designers and vendors who participated. These individuals and companies have been featured in previous Blog posts as have various vendors who created the cabinets; countertops; glass, mirrors, and shower doors; plumbing fixtures and appliances; and the garage doors.
The success of the tour wouldn’t have been assured without various news outlets getting the word out to the public including 11 Alive, Atlanta Magazine, Neighbor Newspapers, and The Current.
Buckhead Coach, as always, did an efficient job of transporting the visitors from the parking area to the homes and back. The Chandlery served as our exclusive ticket outlet.
RWC couldn’t have possibly operated a three-week tour without the tireless efforts of our Chairs Kelly Dippolito and Danyel Thompson and our members as well as volunteers from among our scholarship applicants, representatives from the non-profit organizations supported by RWC, family, friends, neighbors, and members of the general public who all worked shifts to ensure that our visitors had a pleasurable experience.
And last but certainly not least, we thank all the patrons who attended the tour. We hope that each and every one of you came home with lots of new ideas for your own homes. We’ll update the Blog when we distribute the funds earned to high school seniors, classroom teachers, and non-profit organizations.
